What Started It
The idea for Shannon in Hunt Country or SIHC came out of a few things...
The curiosity and interest in Virginia's Hunt Country and its lifestyle that was generated by my Instagram account, the rather dramatic increase in people moving out this way, and seeing the future changes coming to the area.
Hunt Country, and Middleburg in particular... is its own little world, like living in Downton Abbey or Bridgerton. It has its own way of doing things, it's own fashion, its own LIFESTYLE.
SIHC's goal is to preserve this while making it more accessible and inclusive.
Who is Shannon
Shannon is a single mother of three and a Virginia native. She has lived in the Middleburg area for over 10yrs and horses are her passion.
Shannon's children attend two of the areas private schools, land conservation is very near and dear to her heart, as is promoting that community feel.
Shannon also loves anything outdoors, gardening, a good novel, and anything with fur!
